S1 Information Session

We held a successful S1 parent and carer information evening in September 2025. 

Following the welcome from Mr Macleod, parents and carers had the opportunity to attend three 20-minute sessions tailored to the key themes that matter to you and your child's learning. A copy of the presentations used on the evening are below.

• Literacy, Numeracy and Equity support in the BGE

• Digital Support - Guardian Summaries and Google Classroom

• Internet Safety - tips and strategies for supporting your child online

• Pupil Support - an overview of the support model in Stirling High

• Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) and Careers - our approach to career education and post school support

• Additional Support Needs (ASN)/Dyslexia - an overview of how our ASN departments supports our pupils

• Extra-Curricular and School Trips - an overview of the opportunities outside of the classroom that are open to all pupils
