Pupil Voice
The aim of the Pupil Voice Group is to give all pupils the opportunity to voice their opinions on various aspects of school life and to provide a channel through which they can make suggestions for improvement.
Our ‘Pupils as Partners’ event each June provides an opportunity for pupils from all year groups to meet and discuss their learning experience with our Principal Teachers and Senior Leadership Team. This helps to feeds directly into our School Improvement Plan each session.
At Stirling High we have established 5 Pupil Voice Groups which all pupils have the opportunity to join. These groups provide an input in the following key areas of the school:
Theme 1 Our relationships
Theme 2 Our learning and teaching
Theme 3 Our school and community
Theme 4 Our health and wellbeing
Theme 5 Our successes & achievements
The groups meet regularly throughout the school year and are facilitated by a member of staff. The aim is to ensure that all our pupils have an opportunity to input into our continued school improvement and to feel a valued member of our school community.
