Satisfying Customer Needs
This course primarily aims to develop employability skills. It is made up of a number of SQA awards including personal development awards, customer service awards, working in retail units and barista training. Projects will be chosen in consultation with class members to reflect the aspirations and interests of learners.
Personal Development Awards aim to help learners become more independent and to develop their potential as contributing members of their societies. Learners will develop self-reliance, self-esteem and confidence through supported and independent learning. CV writing and interview skills are integrated throughout the course. Learners will receive support from SDS as part of the course.

This course involves a mixture of classroom activity and work placements. Assessment is 100% internal.
