Our cafe is a partnership project supported by our Community Partnership (Parent Council).
Our Community Cafe has been created to provide a welcoming space for staff, young people, visitors, parents, carers and Stirling Council staff to meet.
We aim to provide for our customers the best quality bean to cup coffee and other beverages including tea and hot chocolate. Biscuits and cakes are also available.
We use 100% compostable cups and lids and we recycle our waste. As an Eco School we are very conscious that we promote re-using and recycling. You can even bring your own mug or cup.
Our S6 Cafe Staff volunteer their time to run the cafe, all have been trained in health and safety procedures and are developing their employability skills whilst receiving accreditation from the Saltire Award for their volunteering. Our S6 pupils are able to use the cafe as a quiet study space during the school day.
All profits from the cafe go to fund the cafe's running costs and support our parental engagement projects.
The cafe is open throughout the school day from 8:30am until 3pm and on some Saturday mornings from 9:00am until 12:00pm.
We plan to run various cafe evenings to support parents and carers throughout the year and to share the work of the school and our young people.
Please let us know what you think about our cafe. We are always looking for ways to improve.
