The top level of award in the ECO Schools programme is the Green Flag Award. This is not based on school self-assessment - instead, Eco-Schools Assessors visit the school and assess its performance against the Green Flag Award Criteria.
The Green Flag Award must be renewed every two years. A school is considered to be a permanent Eco School once it has gained its Fourth Green Flag.
Stirling High School has been awarded THREE GREEN FLAGS.
We were awarded our first flag in 2006, whilst we recieved our second one in January 2008 and our third in Summer 2010
